Recycled Wool Tencel Fingering Weight Yarn

This versatile fingering weight yarn is made with 50% recycled wool, which has been reclaimed from the manufacturing process and 50% Tencel, an eco-friendly fibre made from wood pulp and post-consumer fibre waste.

The resulting yarn has lots of body and just sucks up natural dyes!  It has a soft shine to it and is lovely to the touch.

This yarn has 383 yards and 349 metres to a 100 gram skein.

The dyes are all derived from nature, and come from plants or insects.  Where possible, we source local Ontario materials.  When these are not available, we look to Canadian distributors.

Some colour variations between skeins may occur. We recommend alternating skeins if more than one is used in a project.  Although we try to represent the colours as accurately as possible, the picture on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product. 

Products made from this yarn should be hand washed in cool water with wool wash and laid flat to dry.
