Silk Linen Lace Weight Yarn

This is a luscious non-wool lace weight yarn.  It is crisp and takes colours with beautiful depth.  

Each 115 gram skein has 735 yards.  It is made of 65% silk and 35% linen.  

The silk and linen yarn is milled in Canada.  It is then dyed in our home studio using natural dyes and environmentally-sensitive processes. 

The dyes are all derived from nature, and come from plants or insects.  Where possible, we source local Ontario materials.  When these are not available, we look to Canadian distributors.

Some colour variations between skeins may occur. We recommend alternating skeins if more than one is used in a project.  Although we try to represent the colours as accurately as possible, the picture on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product. 

Products made from this yarn should be hand washed in cool water with ph-neutral wash and laid flat to dry.  

This yarn would make a lovely summer-weight shawl or sweater.
